Yet Another Bypass is a PC application that allows you to bypass the firmware requirement on the PS3 so that you can download your goodies from the PlayStation Store. (Or is it called SEN Store now?) It's a nifty tool if you're hanging on a lower firmware and don't want to commit to updating to the latest firmware.
The setup is pretty simple as well. Just grab the download and extract the .bat file to anywhere on your desktop. From there, change the Proxy Settings on your PS3 to point towards the external IP of your PC with a default port of 27. The app was tested on 4.00 and has worked fine.
If you're going to take advantage of this, do it as soon as possible as Sony will patch this up eventually. This won't give you PSN access on CFW nor will it if you're on a firmware lower than 4.00.
