Where Will Assassin's Creed Go Next?

While Ezio Auditore's story may or may not be done in the Assassin's Creed franchise, there is still plenty of room for more games set in many different places and times. EmpireStateGamer stumbled upon a market research survey that pretty much lets us know that Ubisoft is of the same mind. The survey asks, "Among the following propositions, in which of the following historical periods and locations would you like one of the next Assassin's Creed games to take place?" and gives the following options:

  • The violent conflicts of the Imperial Dynasties in Medieval China
  • The advent of the mighty British Empire during Victorian England
  • The culmination of the Pharaoh Reign in Ancient Egypt
  • The invasion of the Americas by the Spanish Conquistadors
  • The confrontation between British colonists and Native Americans during the American Revolution
  • The overthrow of the Tsar Empire by the Communists during the Russian Revolution
  • The Warlord Battles in Feudal Japan
  • The rise of Caesar's Empire in Ancient Rome

Wow, all of the above please.

While this survey will likely have little bearing on the Assassin's Creed game being developed for next year, it's pretty cool that the developers are allowing the fans to take some small part in determining where the story will go next. Which choice of setting do you like?
