psfMod Updated to 0.9.6.5; Includes Latest PL3 with "Patched Mode"

Am I supposed to be able to play backed up games without a disc in PL3? Have no problem with the original PSFreedom recovery image + hermes payloads on HTC Hero (GSM) but with PL3 I'm getting an 80028F14 error when trying to launch a game without a disc in.

What does the PL3 do? and what is a payload?

is there going to be one for HTC dream?

Thanks Klutsh, Have the option to select a payload from the SD card now but MOH is still asking me to update here... Mounts still not working either :(@ Jason, Use Gaia Manager and press L1 to select discless.@wtf, WTF! Read about 5 news items down on main page for info on PL3...Payload is just a fancy name for a piece of software that does what you tell it to.

Hi I am still on FW 3.15 and really want to play Red Dead Redemption (needs 3.30). Jailbroken consoles with 3.41 are able to bypass games that require 3.42+ (correct me if I'm wrong). So is it possible to bypass e.g 3.30 with jailbroken FW 3.15? How does it work.Thanks for any reply!Anskar

I noticed the custom payload option in this release (not sure if it was there before) ... so couldn't I put hermesv4 (not sure what format) into I guess a bin file and load it, because some games discless work a lot better on hermes than pl3

I Have the motorola Droid with psfmod 0.9.6.5. I noticed that we can load payloads, Does that means that we can have hermes v4b now on the droid using this feature?

I don't think you really get how this works. When you are in "jailbreak mode" your phone has no usb function and the wifi usually doesn't work depending on your model. Recoveries are ideal and the best way to serve the payload to the ps3.

So what do i need to do with this to get MOH or MMA to work? Which payload do i load from the sd card?? Someone please help

get same moh won't work in discless mode but loads to game data screen with a disc in then freezes any help please using latest recovery and gaia manager chers stu
